Bitter Magazine is currently looking for two volunteer POETRY EDITORS to join our team. The poetry editor will be responsible for reporting to the managing editor on all poetry submissions, as well as working with authors to edit and revise their work for publication. Potential candidates must have excellent written and verbal communication skills, time management, and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Read, edit, and comment on all submissions
• Work closely with authors and coordinate between author and managing editor
• Attend all decision meetings

Requirements

• Have access to Microsoft Word and Google Docs
• Familiarity with Discord
• Ability to meet deadlines
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail

This position is open to remote but priority will be given to candidates based in Vancouver. Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis.
