collage, old magazines and newspapers used for clippings.
This collage utilizes random structural clippings to create a new estate. The
interchangeability of statues and stones combine to make a home that gives a grim fairytale aesthetic.
Katie Rife is a Chicago based collage artist. Her collages focus on using recycled paper and materials as much as possible, and the resulting correlations and themes are determined by material availability. The emphasis on using what is already created shapes the collages she curates.
